This new version brings some new enhancements, some of which I’ve listed below:
- Simplified Installation using the new VCF Installer – No more having to fill in the sporeadsheet for cloudbuilder. Now you have a simple and easy to use installer that validates as you go through it.
- Single interface with VCF Operations Console – Single pane of glass to control & administrate your virtual environment
- Advanced NVMe Memory tiering – Enhanced use of NVMe for memory operations saving 38% lower memory and server TCO.
- vSAN ESA with Global Dedup – Maximising vSAN storage by up to 34%
- Enhaced Data Pathing – Giving you faster data transfer speeds of up to 3x
- Easy VPC Experience and Consumption – Create virtual private clouds with ease
- Native Multi-Tenancy – Allows you to create & manage multiple tenants with ease
- Cost Control, Chargeback and Showback – Giving you control, accuracy and transparency of costs
- Security Operations Dashboard – Providing SOC visibility with monitoring and alerts
- Configuration compliance and monitoring – Automatic configuration drift detection and auditing.
- Application Insights and Troubleshooting – Proactively detects issues and provides essential troubleshooting
